Brrr!! It's snowing! Join Alan Shuptrine in this 2-day workshop to learn how to interpret and recreate realistic winter and snow scene landscapes in watercolor. Day One will be a “Boot Camp” style class where several different techniques, watercolor methods, concepts, and tricks of the trade will covered, including painting from back to front to create depth in a landscape and utilizing the white of the watercolor paper to create light and shadow. Then, on Day Two it’s time to paint! Participants will utilize the skills learned the previous day as they explore the usage of lighter colors in a composition. All skill levels welcome!
