A commissioned painting from Alan is an invitation to own a singular work of art, conceived through an intimate, collaborative process and crafted with uncompromising attention to detail. Drawing upon decades of mastery, Alan transforms your vision into an heirloom that transcends décor—capturing emotion, place, and time in a way only original fine art can.

Each commission begins with a private consultation, working with the client with an agreed timeline and discussion of prices for the painting and if desired, a handmade frame. You will explore your desired subject, dimensions, palette, and ambiance with the artist. From there, Alan will show you a sketch for approval. Usually a one-half deposit is required to begin any commission, with the balance due upon completion.

Commissions are accepted on a limited basis each year to preserve the exclusivity and focus of the creative process. Upon completion, your painting can be shipped or delivered , signed by the artist , ready to add to your collection.
