Discover your artistic voice with Alan Shuptrine's Bootcamp Watercolor Workshop, inspired by the techniques of American watercolorist Andrew Wyeth (1917-2009). In 2010, Shuptrine was invited to exhibit his watercolors with Wyeth at The Vero Beach Museum of Art in an exhibition called “In the Tradition of Wyeth: Contemporary Watercolor Masters.” His paintings were displayed beside Wyeth’s, and also those of his father, Hubert Shuptrine (1936-2006), Stephen Scott Young, and numerous other watercolor Realists. Focus on weathered farmhouses, barns, and grassy fields, as you learn Wyeth’s preferred techniques of wet-in-wet washes, drybrush, and egg tempera techniques.
